When I need money, I get out and canvas my neighborhood. I look to see who made need their lawns mowed, yard cleaned up, who may need their dogs walked, or pets taken care of I  have babysat pets in order to get some  money when I am between jobs. I have cleaned houses, washed floors on my hands and knees. Also in order to get more money I offered babysitting services and have painted the outside of houses. With todays economy the way it is, I am more prone to take that money and put it in a mayonnaise jar and bury it in my back yard rather than put it in a bank, I suppose a better way to go if you could, is find yourself a credit union and put your money in an account there. They are not as hard on your money as banks are with all of their fees, plus is a good way to build your credit, you can get great deals for cars etc. also through a credit union.
