Tortilla Fruit Rolls
1 6-oz package of mixed dried fruit bits
½ cup water
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash of ground nutmeg
8 6-inch tortillas cut in half
Skim milk
Combine fruit, water, sugar (I use granulated sweetner), cinnamon, & nutmeg in small pan, bring it to boiling. Remove from heat, cover and let cool for about 15 minutes stirring it a little bit.
Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees, place tightly foil wrapped tortilla halves in oven for 10 minutes. Take half of the tortilla halves from foil, leaving remainder wrapped until you need them. Spoon rounded tablespoon of the cooled fruit mixture along the edge of each tortilla til about ½ inch from the ends.
Starting from the cut edge, rolling up each tortilla half. Brush the curved edges with milk pressing gently to seal, put tortilla rolls, seam side down 1 inch apart in baking pan, again brushing lightly with milk bake for about 15 minutes or edges brown.
